Dr Craig Marsh: Executive Dean, Faculty of Business Law and Criminology, Liverpool Hope University

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Craig Marsh is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business Law and Criminology at Liverpool Hope University.

Dr Marsh has over 25 years’ experience in academic, senior commercial and consultancy roles and is recognised as a thought leader and innovator in international online postgraduate education.

At Laureate, he oversaw the development of new online learning models delivered in partnership with the University of Liverpool and University of Roehampton, with responsibility for teaching and quality assurance for online Master’s and doctoral programmes taught by more than 500 academic staff. He has also led the design and delivery of executive education programmes for multi-national companies.

Dr Marsh was previously a Research Fellow at Lancaster University and Associate Professor at EDHEC Business School and the Theseus International Management Institute in France, where he was Director of the School’s prestigious MBA programme. He has a Master’s in Classics from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Management Learning from Lancaster. His research in the fields of organisation theory and management learning is widely published and he has taught postgraduate students in management, leadership and ethics.

During his time as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International Partnerships and Director of the Lincoln International Business School. at The University of Lincoln,  Dr Marsh led the establishment of Lincoln’s Business School as the University’s fourth academic college, alongside the existing Colleges of Arts, Science and Social Science. This included driving the School’s research agenda, teaching excellence and portfolio development with a strong focus on the School’s international offer and its services to business and employers.
