Global Visionary Women Network Forms Strategic Partnership with GWES Cameroon to Champion Women’s Leadership Across Africa

Liverpool, UK – April 30th 2025 – The Global Visionary Women Network (GVWN), a globally recognised and reputable women’s leadership and empowerment organisation headquartered in the United Kingdom, is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Global Women Emancipation in Sports (GWES) Cameroon. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in GVWN’s mission to equip, empower, and elevate the next generation of African female leaders and visionaries.

This newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) officially establishes GWES as the Cameroon Chapter and African Headquarters of GVWN. The partnership is designed to strengthen women’s leadership development, increase access to international opportunities, and bridge cultural and strategic leadership divides between Africa and the UK.

Led by Olympian and multi-award-winning athlete, Dr Fomum Victorine Agum, GWES brings a wealth of experience in female empowerment, sports, and community leadership. Together, GVWN and GWES will focus on leadership development, international collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy.

Key Objectives of the Partnership:

  • Leadership Training & Empowerment: GWES will recruit, train, and empower women leaders in alignment with GVWN’s global standards for future Global Women Leadership Summits in Cameroon and abroad.
  • International Exposure & Knowledge Exchange: The partnership will create a unique gateway for knowledge-sharing between African and UK-based leaders.
  • Events & Summit Hosting: GWES will lead the coordination of the Global Women Leadership Summit – Cameroon Chapter, supported by GVWN’s branding and global reach.
  • Mentorship & Professional Growth: Joint initiatives will provide aspiring and established leaders with resources, mentorship, membership access to GVWN, and access to global platforms and opportunities.

The partnership will culminate in a series of events and leadership summits across Cameroon, with the aim of fostering local impact while connecting African women leaders to global forums, including the upcoming Global Women Leadership Summit 2025 in the UK.

Liverpool, Royaume-Uni – 30 avril 2025 – Le Global Visionary Women Network (GVWN), organisation internationale de référence dans le domaine du leadership et de l’autonomisation des femmes, basée au Royaume-Uni, a le plaisir d’annoncer un partenariat stratégique historique avec Global Women Emancipation in Sports (GWES) Cameroun. Ce partenariat représente une avancée majeure dans la mission du GVWN : former, soutenir et propulser la prochaine génération de femmes leaders et visionnaires africaines.
